Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) through Digicert Sdn Bhd has already upgraded the public certificate
 from 1024-bit to 2048-bit root CA structure and hierarchy. This change is in line with industry best practices to ensure the highest level of security
for e-Government application services.
Therefore, the use of 1024-bit smart card will be terminated on 31st August 2016. In order to avoid any inconveniences in accessing the system,
we recommend all AEO companies to acquire the new 2048-bit smartcard from Digicert Sdn Bhd.
